ONE OF CRYSTOBAL’S FINEST VAMPIRE KILLING KITS

Video of CRYSTOBAL'S Angelique
Vampire Killing Kit

Here is a video of this amazing kit. According to Crystobal, he did not make this film, and doesn't know who did make it or when, but he believes it may have been created by someone in a theater where he worked in the mid 1970's. It appears to have been shot on film that was then converted to video, then digitized for the web.

Below left is a picture of the same kit taken recently; below right is a photo of the same Vampire Killing Kit Crystobal took around 1975.

One Of CRYSTOBAL's FIRST Vampire Killing Kits, c. 1954. Note the simplicity.

The detail in CRYSTOBAL's work is nearly as incredible as his imagination. Below are images of some of his other concepts.

The original concept was to create a working transmitter/receiver to use in a late 1950's theater performance. The radio idea proved impractical when it kept picking up music and shortwave signals. The final design incorporated his Lionel Train transformer as a power source, several radio tubes, a speaker and a microphone from a 1930's dictaphone.

Crystobal's Coffin Candle Holder.
He only created a handful of
these in the 1990s for
friends and relatives.

On the right, a Slanted Cross.
Originally designed by Crystobal
in the 1960's, this example was
part of the artist's hippie phase,
when he created spoon jewelry
and sand candles, too.

CRYSTOBAL is still creating a limited number of pieces.
