LeMat Pistol and Holster Movie Prop

The script for American Cryptids called for a monster-hunter's "old fashioned pistol". Immediately Pinto thought of the LeMat black powder revolver, a gun that was briefly made in the mid-1800s and known for it's massive size, plus the addition of one shotgun round built into the gun under the barrel. These are available as non-firing replicas. Pinto procured one, antiqued it to look weathered, then built a custom leather holster made especially for the prop, from scratch.
